You see, the Mac version of The Sims 4 is currently only available in digital form. That means, if you recently went to the store to buy a physical copy, you won't be able to use that CD to install the game. Instead, you'll have to install Origin, and download the game from there.
Hi Simmers, I'm planning to get a late 2016 MacBook Pro 15' with touch bar and am wondering how it runs The Sims 4? I will be buying probably all of the packs. I cant play The Sims at the moment, I have only use Windows PC. Any way, how does it run? What about with packs? What settings do you have the game set to? Does it lag a lot?

First, open up Safari or your web browser of choice and head to the origin.com/download page. Click on the tiny text that says 'Download for Mac' underneath the orange button.

- Open up the boxed copy of The Sims 4, and find the product code.
- On Origin, click on 'Origin' in the top left corner and click on 'Redeem Product Code'
- Type in the Product Code to download the game.
